Oj simpson question, why is the man with the stolen property free without consequences?

This may be a touchy subject and whether oj is guilty or not for takin back his stuff isnt the question, last time i checked though having posession of stolen property was a felony, can anyone explain to me why not one person is mentioning that that man is guilty also, how comes hes giving interviews and scott free. shouldnt he and oj both be in jail? oj really should have called the cops stead of takin it in his hands but to me the whole thing seems like a which hunt. what does yahoo answers think?
